I know it’s wrong – Starbucks is evil and all that…
But I would KILL for a grande gingerbread latte right now. Or a vanilla latte.
I can’t get one here in the Czech Republic, but I could hop on over to the United Arab Emirates and hit a local Starbucks.
Does something seem a little out of whack about that?
Or Dunkin Donuts – oh, why have you forsaken me? There used to be a huge one here in Prague. Where did it go? And why?
These are the things weighing heavily on my mind these days. There are no take-out coffee places here. (There’s vending machines, but… bleh.)
I’m sick in the hotel bed with a cold now. What I wouldn’t give to have a tall mocha with a shot of raspberry. And a cranberry-orange muffin.
Or even La Colombe, my favorite coffee place ever, in Philadelphia. You can get their wonderful elixirs to go as well.
What is WRONG with these people here in Prague?
When I finally have our own flat, I’m getting an espresso machine and a coffee maker and a very large carry-around coffee mug.
**In other news… I have other news but I don’t want to jinx it. So mum’s the word.
*** In other other news – there are many Starbucks in Germany. Intend to take a road trip to Germany soon – and you can bet I’m going to Starbucks.
