*For two years, I was the volunteer managing editor for the nonprofit group, GHF Learners. As such, I created the in-house style guide and standard practices for all content, including books published through their press arm and all online content (newsletters, blogs, community posts, etc.). I edited email newsletters, promotional content, and nonfiction books, as well as fact-checked, confirmed, and formatted all references and citations. I formatted the page layouts for print in Adobe InDesign and polished the eBook/Kindle layouts. Additionally, I actively searched for potential new authors; I brought in two new authors before leaving my volunteer position due to work conflicts.
**Because of my technical background, I specialize in technical editing and proofreading. However, I enjoy and am highly knowledgeable in many subject areas. I’ve edited bilingual (French and English) packaging and also have strong foundational knowledge of Spanish, Italian, German, Czech, Russian, and Swedish.
